CW3 Families, Things are happening in CW3!!
We had our Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Feb.23rd where we had a nice turnout of families from all CW3 divisions. Thank you for attending!
The primary agenda was to elect our CW3 Association
President and Treasurer. Todd Mattson
was the only candidate running for President and was voted in. He announced he is stepping down as Extreme
Chairman. Our Treasurer position was not
filled so CW3 is still looking for someone to fill this position. Our current Treasurer will stay on for the
next couple of months. The meeting

The Extreme Annual Meeting will be held March 11th,
2010 at 7:00 PM where the Vice Chair and the two Members at Large positions
will be voted on.
Our first Extreme newsletter was drafted and distributed to
the Extreme teams. The newsletter will
migrate to become a newsletter that includes all our divisions. These newsletters will be posted on our

We are planning a House and Rec. Travel Jamboree on June 5th, 2010 at Walled lake Northern High School. This event will include House and Rec. Travel season games and will have fun things to do for the whole family. Concessions, face painting, and Inflatable ‘bouncies’ are also planned for this event. Look for a flyer with more details soon on our website!!!
CW3's Extreme Annual Meeting is March 11th.
The CW3 Extreme Annual Meeting will be March 11th, at
7:00PM at Lakes Baptist Church. This meeting will involve voting for the three positions up for
re-election (Vice Chair, and 2 Member at Large positions).
CW3 Spring 2010 Soccer Registration has Closed for House and Rec/Travel.
Thank you to all who have registered for the 2010 Spring soccer season. The Spring season will begin In April. Teams will be formed soon and you will be contacted by your coach late March.
CW3 Association Treasurer position is still in the need of a person to help keep CW3 a great soccer club!
Treasurer
The Treasurer shall render to the president and directors, at the regular meetings of the Board, or whenever they may require it, an account of all transactions as Treasurer and of the financial condition of the Association. The treasurer shall submit a fiscal report showing income and expenses by budget categories and the current balance of all Association accounts at a quarterly board of directors meeting. If required by the board of directors, The treasurer shall have custody of the funds and securities of the Association and shall keep full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements in books belonging to the Association and shall deposit all moneys and other valuable effects in the name and to the credit of the Association in such depositories as may be designated by the board of directors. The treasurer and the president or vice president, shall disburse the funds of the Association as may be ordered by the board, taking proper vouchers for such disbursements. The treasurer shall also be responsible for preparing any and all federal or state tax returns. The treasurer shall be responsible for preparing any and all papers regarding the tax-exempt status of the Association. The treasurer shall arrange for an internal review of all Association accounts at the conclusion of each fiscal year such that the report will be completed by the annual general meeting. The treasurer will distribute the internal report at the annual general meeting.
